Verticals onDemand's Matt Wallach Named to the PharmaVOICE 100

PLEASANTON, CA - June 22, 2007–Matt Wallach, vice president of sales and marketing for Verticals onDemand (www.verticalsondemand.com), has been selected by PharmaVOICE as one of the top 100 most inspirational and influential people in the life sciences industry. Wallach was selected from a large group of nominees, submitted by readers.

A panel of PharmaVOICE editors evaluated the submissions based on the individual's ability to inspire, motivate, and influence corporate leadership, research and development, technology, creativity, marketing, and strategy in the life sciences industry.

As the original product manager for Siebel Pharma, Wallach helped to create the customer relationship management (CRM) segment in the pharmaceutical industry. Today with Verticals onDemand, Wallach is introducing the very latest in Software as a Service (SaaS) technology to various segments of the global pharmaceutical industry. In this capacity, he is supporting many industry leaders who are seeking to improve their relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, and health plans.

"It's an honor to be recognized by my peers and to be listed alongside so many other great leaders in the industry," said Wallach. "I'm motivated by making my customers successful, and I'm humbled to think that they have found me to be an inspiration."

Wallach is a frequent presenter at leading pharmaceutical industry conferences, including recent presentations at the Drug Information Association (DIA), PDMA, and CBI's Marketing Compliance Congress. He received his B.A. in economics Yale University, cum laude, and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, with honors.

"The PharmaVOICE 100 are individuals who think outside the box, pioneer new paths to success, and inspire their colleagues in the industry through their unique leadership qualities," says Taren Grom, editor and cofounder of PharmaVOICE. "We are pleased to recognize these 100 individuals - from all the different sectors of the life-sciences industry - who have been able to translate industry issues into opportunities and who have taken the time to mentor the next generation of leaders."

The complete list of PharmaVOICE 100 honorees will be published in the July/August issue of PharmaVOICE.

About the PharmaVOICE 100
PharmaVOICE asked its diverse readership to nominate the individuals who have inspired and motivated them. Readers were asked to select individuals who view industry trends as challenges, not burdens, as opportunities not obstacles, who embody panache and conviction, and who plan for the future rather than respond to change.

The 2007 PharmaVOICE 100 were selected based on a number of criteria, particularly the nominator's description of why an individual inspired or motivated them or affected positive change, in addition to the number of submissions received.
